Update on Jenzabar

Saint Mary's University of Minnesota has entered the Go Dark period for its Student Information System, transitioning to Jenzabar, which will be known as The Nest. The new system will go live on July 17. During the Go Dark period, data in the portal is read-only, with essential updates being made manually. Canvas and payroll systems remain operational. Payments made after June 23 will be reflected in the new portal. The university thanks the Jenzabar module managers and IT application team for their efforts.

The new system, chosen for its stability and modern features, will go live on July 17, 2023. The transition aims to improve degree audits, course registration, and automated workflows. The university community is involved in naming the new student and faculty portal, and extensive training and configuration are ongoing. Key personnel involved in the project include module managers and directors from various departments.
