Tim Stackpool is an Australian media professional with extensive production and on-air experience in both radio and television stretching for more than 25 years. His CV boasts reporting for CBS in New York, CBC in Canada, Real Radio (now HEART) in the UK and RTE in Ireland following a 2 year stint as the Australian correspondent for the Canadian Economic Press. Also during that time in 2008, he reported on the Rugby League World Cup for radio networks in the north of England. During the 2009 Australian bushfires, Tim reported for CTV and CBC in Canada. These news agencies and others including Fox News and BBC also featured Tim as a correspondent during the Martin Place hostage situation in Sydney in 2014. In the Arts, he is a member of the Australian Film Institute (AFI/AACTA), an honorary member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS), a supporting member of Women in Film and Television (WIFT) as well as a member of the Australian Journalists Association (AJA). He remains a regular correspondent for agencies around the world, booked via Global Radio News (now GRNLIve) based in London. Tim also appears in various media as a specialist writing regular features for industry and consumer magazines.
