Tabula, the prime suspect, supports their plea, admitting his and Noah Lujja's involvement. The prosecution opposes their release, as the case is set to be committed to the High Court. Kampala City socialite and Businessman Nasser Nduhukire alias Don Nasser remanded
Nasser Nduhukire, a Kampala socialite, has been remanded to Luzira prison on charges of aggravated trafficking and sexual exploitation of a minor. Arrested in Kenya, he is accused of transporting a 16-year-old girl to his residence in Uganda. His co-accused, Ateete Promise, had her bail revoked following the amendment of charges. Concerned Citizen Sues to Block Relocation of Luzira Prison for Commercial
A concerned citizen, Deus Arinaitwe, has filed a lawsuit against the Attorney General to prevent the relocation of Luzira prison to Buikwe, which is intended to make way for a commercial development by Tian Tang Group Holdings Ltd. He seeks a court injunction to halt any further negotiations and holds the president and Minister of Internal Affairs accountable for abuse of public office. The case highlights tensions between government actions and public interest in land use.
Lawyers Challenge Government Over Subscription Fees for Accessing Revised Laws

They seek to have the revised edition published online for free and provided in braille at no charge.
Suicide Bombers Strike Uganda's Capital
Uganda's capital, Kampala, was hit by two suicide bombings on Tuesday, which police attribute to the ADF rebel group. Three suicide bombers on motorbikes carried out the attacks, resulting in six confirmed deaths, including the attackers themselves. The first explosion occurred near the Central Police Station, and the second near the country's parliament, prompting an immediate evacuation and suspension of parliamentary sessions. Correspondent Vincent Kasozi reported that the attacks seemed coordinated and predicted a high death toll, observing body bags and scattered body parts at the scene. The bombings follow recent attacks in Kampala, including a deadly restaurant bombing on October 23 and a bus explosion on October 25, both linked to the ADF, which has ties to the Islamic State group.
