In Cuiabá, a virtuous new cycle is realized through the transformation of waste into organic fertilizer for family farming, thanks to the Biolodo project developed by Águas Cuiabá in partnership with the Municipal Government and Empaer. The project, a first in the region, underscores the city's commitment to environmental preservation. The ETE Ribeirão do Lipa sewage treatment plant is a key innovation, treating more sewage efficiently and producing biosolids used as fertilizer in agriculture. Águas Cuiabá, part of Grupo Iguá, aims to universalize access to quality water and sewage treatment, serving 605,000 people. Iguá Saneamento, managed by IG4 Capital, operates in 39 municipalities, reaching over 7 million people, and is committed to sustainability initiatives and carbon emission reduction.
