In Ukraine, wheat carves new paths

In the extreme southwest of Ukraine, Bessarabie has become a logistical 'hell' for Ukrainian traders and logisticians trying to export millions of tons of grain amidst the war to prevent famine in other countries and avoid bankruptcy for thousands of Ukrainian farmers. Despite the apparent calmness in places like Izmaïl beach, the transformation of this region into a global grain trade hub has local villagers from various nationalities concerned about potential Russian bombardments. Traders are overwhelmed with managing the flow of goods due to limited storage capacity and the complexity of coordinating shipments, certifications, and scattered trucks.
