Throughout her career, she has covered the Allen Stanford Ponzi scandal, the United Nations General Assembly in New York and visits of US Secretaries of State to the Caribbean. She has extensive experience covering natural disasters including the 2010 Haiti Earthquake, Hurricanes Irma in Barbuda and Ivan in Grenada.
