Shaw had previously collided with a parked car and was stationary in the travel lane when the Chevrolet hit his car at high speed, causing it to spin and hit another parked car. The Chevrolet driver then hit three more cars and fled the scene with a passenger. D.C. Fire and EMS pronounced Shaw dead at the scene, and D.C. police are seeking information from the public.
