Kamara Karim is a journalist based in Conakry, Guinea.
I have more than 10 years of working experience. I speak and write French, but my working language is  English.

WORKING  ExPERIENCE

I was the  Eastern province bureau chief, with residence in Kono District, eastern Sierra Leone, 🇸🇱 of Read morethe Newstorm News papers, Freetown. I covered extensively the rebel war in Sierra Leone waged by Foday Sankoh and his RUF rebels. I was the deputy secretary general for Sierra Leone Association of Journalists SLAJ.
I fled to my country of origin ( Guinea ) when Freetown, fell into the hands of the rebels in 2006 and when Journalists became sitting targets by the rebels. Many journalists were killed by the rag  tags boys  causing exodus of journalists into neigbouring Guinea. 
In Guinea, I was the Rfi English service correspondent ifrom 2003 to 2021 when the current affairs of Rfi English service unfortunately was to a ulte. From 2004 to 2021 I was the editor of the English service, at the Guinean National Radio and Television RTG.
In 2009, temporarily reported for the English service of the French television  France 24, and I continue to freelance for them from time to time. 
I am currently reporring for the English service of Deutsche Welle Radio.
I have a solide working experience of Guinea. I speak fluently two out of the three major tribes in Guinea.
