Travel, commissioning editor of The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, travel journalist, presenter and content editor for many more major publications and websites. But over the years, I’ve picked up all sorts of travel tips and tricks. Whether you want to know how to do the real Big Apple or a thrilling Big Five safari on a shoestring, or need advice about currency, flight rights or insurance, I can help.

Beyond travel, I find the fin-tech industry fascinating for its potential to make lives better by creating new ways of managing money. I’ve interviewed the first woman to start a British national bank, previewed app-based financial products before they hit the market, and know which is the best plastic to use on your travels.

I also write about ethical and political issues, from energy-efficiency to women’s rights. And I’m a judge for the International Hotel & Property Awards.
