Marta is a freelance journalist and documentary filmmaker covering Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. She has been based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, since 2012 but her work often takes her to neighbouring countries and to Poland, where she was born and lived until 2001.

Marta’s investigations took her into the heart of one of Poland’s most notorious far right groups; saw her hang out with employees of a multinational company linked to a banned sect promoting polygamy in Malaysia, where she also exposed the practice of female genital mutilation; led her to highlight the plight of Nigerian football players trafficked to Cambodia.

When not working as a journalist, she produces and shoots videos for private clients and non-profit organizations. Some of her clients include: the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Cambodia (UN OHCHR), World Wildlife Fund (WWF), SNV Development Organization, People in Need, RightBrain Foundation and Momentum.Travel.

A human rights lawyer by education, Marta worked as a legal advisor and researcher for non-governmental organizations in the UK, India and Cambodia, before turning to journalism. She specialises in women’s rights and corporate-related human rights abuses.

She is a member of Ruom, a Cambodia-based collective of journalists passionate about social reportage and is the co-founder of Turren, a video production company making pretty awesome videos.

Kiana Duncan is a journalist based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with bylines in Tidningen Global, Southeast Asia Globe, and BBC. She currently reports for Democratic Voice of Burma, specializing in Myanmar current affairs. In the Mekong region, she reports on business, foreign policy and culture.

Andy is a photographer and videographer from the UK based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Although he has a background in marine biology, he decided to turn his interest towards photography and film.

Since moving from the UK, he has been based in Asia; first in the Maldives and now in Cambodia. He Read morehas an interest in stories that revolve around the relationship between humans and the environment.

Hailing from the Italian Alps, Thomas Cristofoletti has been working in Southeast Asia as a humanitarian photographer and videographer since 2012.

Based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, he’s also the co-founder of RUOM, a collective of journalists specializing in social reportage throughout Asia.

In 1999, he was commended by the UN special envoy Lahkdar Brahimi for the ‘best and most insightful” coverage of the Afghan civil war. Four years later he was the first journalist to cross the Diyala River into Baghdad with the US Marines. Hunt has featured in several documentaries including the the ‘Journos’ series produced for SBS Australia and covered the Khmer Rouge tribunals for The Times of London. He writes for The Economist, The Diplomat, The Edge Review and occasionally The New York Times and The Age in Melbourne. Hunt is an Academic Program Professor with Pannasastra University in Cambodia and has won awards with the World Association of Newspapers (WAN) and the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA).
