My name is Boris van der Spek. I am a freelance journalist, currently based in Santiago, Chile. I got my Bachelor in Journalism in Holland. During my study i specialized in foreign journalism, partly by studying half a year in Madrid. During my study I wrote for newspapers and magazines in Holland (Het Parool, Amsterdam) and in the former Dutch colony of Surinam (Parbode Magazine, Paramaribo). My experience and qualifications made it possible for me to work with video (i worked for the biggest sportschannel in Holland), magazines, newspapers and provide my own photos. I speak fluent English and Spanish, and speak native Dutch. Apart from my foreign experience in Surinam and Madrid i worked in Costa Rica and Colombia. Currently i am living in Santiago de Chile, where i try to explain the beauty of this unique country to my readers. Interested? Don´t hesitate in contacting me, for any questions! You will not regret hiring me!
