As media entrepreneur and journalist, I have been working in South America for two years now. Currently I am working as Managing Editor at the Santiago Times, the only English news medium in Chile. I am responsible for journalistic innovations, the quality of the website, the management of reporters and the supervision of trainees. Before I came to Chile, I worked in Surinam at Parbode Magazine, the only independent opinion magazine in the country, and as a freelancer in Colombia covering the peace process with the FARC. I am actively trying to make my dream as correspondent in Latin America come true, and I work on a continental English-language journalism platform, which my employer must become part of. I have experience in conducting live interviews, coverage of major events, and reporting, in multi media.
