Camilo Egana is a journalist based in Miami, United States of America. Camilo Egaña joined CNN en Español in October 2010. He started his career in radio, television and news agencies in Cuba and Miami. Before turning 20, he started writing journalism and became one of the youngest columnists in his country. In 1996, he moved to Miami and became a reporter for Telemundo. Later he was presenter and producer of news for that channel, and from there covered the most important local events happened between 1996 and 2006. After 10 years with Telemundo, Egaña was hired by Mega TV of Miami to take charge of the daily programs "Mega News" and "Implicados", as well as the weekly program "Raíces y recuerdos". Born in Havana, Cuba, Egaña, received his degree in Hispanic Language and Literature at the University of Havana, and took a postgraduate course in news production in Spain. He has been professor of journalism classes in Havana and in Mexico. He speaks Spanish and English
