About Emelyne
I am a starting journalist who graduated last year. I studied Journalism at Artevelde University College in Ghent, Belgium and studied Broadcasting-Radio at Fanshawe College in London, ON, Canada for one semester as an exchange student. During my time in Ghent, I volunteered at the student radio station Urgent.fm where I learned to make live radio. I started as researcher and part of the editorial team and moved my way up to co-host and host. I also learned a lot about making radio during my time at Fanshawe.
I have experience in social media management. I did my internship at kleinVerhaal, a social artistic organisation in Ostend, Belgium where I created content (photos, videos, audio) to post on their social media (Facebook, Instagram). Before doing my internship there, I volunteered with their project Radio Onderstroom where, with a little group of people, we made a podcast and live radio show. I have two podcasts myself that I make, Belgic Music and Six To See, and I also have several blogs (Belgic Music, Dreamelyne). If you want to know even more, you can visit my portfolio on ******

The very first time Godzilla and Kong shared the screen was over 60 years ago

27 Mar 2024  |  filmtotaal.nl
Over 60 years ago, Godzilla and Kong first appeared together on screen in the film 'King Kong vs. Godzilla' (1962), produced by the Japanese company Toho and directed by Ishirõ Honda. The concept originated from Willis O'Brien, who envisioned King Kong fighting a giant Frankenstein's monster, but due to high costs, Toho replaced the monster with Godzilla. The film, which used suitmotion instead of stop-motion, became Japan's biggest Godzilla film and a lasting hit. Recently, the monsters were seen together again in 'Godzilla vs. Kong' (2021), and the upcoming 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' will feature them working together. 'King Kong vs. Godzilla' is available on archive.org and for purchase on DVD and Blu-ray.

Tessa Dixson releases new single 'Creep'

01 Aug 2020  |  De website van belgic-music!
The article discusses the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the career of singer Tessa Dixson. After winning De Nieuwe Lichting in 2019, which was expected to be her big break, Tessa released her debut album 'Genesis'. She had several festivals and concerts lined up for promotion, but the pandemic led to the cancellation of all her performances. Despite these setbacks, Tessa continued to create music and has now returned with a new single titled 'Creep', a song she wrote two years ago before the pandemic but has only now released.
