I am a starting journalist who graduated last year. I studied Journalism at Artevelde University College in Ghent, Belgium and studied Broadcasting-Radio at Fanshawe College in London, ON, Canada for one semester as an exchange student. During my time in Ghent, I volunteered at the student radio station Urgent.fm where I learned to make live radio. I started as researcher and part of the editorial team and moved my way up to co-host and host. I also learned a lot about making radio during my time at Fanshawe.
I have experience in social media management. I did my internship at kleinVerhaal, a social artistic organisation in Ostend, Belgium where I created content (photos, videos, audio) to post on their social media (Facebook, Instagram). Before doing my internship there, I volunteered with their project Radio Onderstroom where, with a little group of people, we made a podcast and live radio show.
