Western Europeans rekindling a dying Hungarian village

Budapest, Hungary Current Affairs February 24 @ 10:42am

A small Hungarian village is pumped with life by a Belgian couple and other Western Europeans and even American families who bought properties in the village. They moved to the Hungarian countryside to enjoy its calmness, but they also work together with the mostly senior locals to improve the village and make it appealing for both Hungarians and other foreigners. At the moment Western European residents are in majority in the village. The piece would focus on their motivation to move to a small Hungarian village, their everyday struggles and relation with the Hungarian people they live together.
