"Tiny Homes" neighborhoods a big way to fight poverty/homelessness

Chicago, United States of America Current Affairs June 24 @ 3:02pm

A pastor in Detroit, Rev. Faith Fowler, dreamed up a neighborhood that would be comprised of tiny homes, as a ticket out of poverty -- and today it's thriving. All the materials are donated -- pop star Jon Bon Jovi even donated $100,00 00 -- and Fowler is getting calls from neighborhood planners from all over the world on how it works. The homes (now approaching 2 dozen) are colorful & whimsical (very visual), and if a renter maintains the home for 7 years -- they'll own the home, no strings attached.
