6,558 families to be removed from Ctg hills

The Chattogram Divisional Hill Management Committee on Monday decided to evict 6558 families who have been living illegally at the 26 hills in Chattogram.
The committee took the decision in its 26th meeting held at Chattogram divisional commissioner office on Monday afternoon ahead of monsoon.
Chattogram divisional commissioner Md Aminur Rahman presided over the meeting while Chattogram deputy commissioner Abul Bashar Md Fakhruzzaman, among others, addressed the meeting.
Chattogram divisional commissioner Md Aminur Rahman said that they were updating the list of illegal occupants at the hills.
