I'm a Japanese-English bilingual independent journalist out of Tokyo, Japan. If you're based in America and you're tuned into public radio, you'll often hear my spots from Japan on NPR's newscasts. Aside from that, I hold regular agreements with clients like Reuters for audio and video Read morework, both live and pre-recorded/pre-filed. I also appear on Japanese television outlets as a sort of bilingual culture bridge.

I'm available for on-the-ground fixing and news production in any area of Japan. Visiting teams needing a coordinator will get top-notch service before they even get to the airport.
In front or behind the mic/camera, I'm perfectly comfortable (in both Japanese and English).
I'm also equipped with audio and video gear for most any occasion.

One last thing - although I don't cut my labor rates, I am intensely budget-minded and generally know where to find the good areas to cut here in Japan.

She is specializing in setting up and conduction exclusive interviewed with a variety of sought after A-list celebrities, politicians, CEOs and Read moreother professionals, as well as doing war/disaster coverage for newspapers (Tohoku earthquake, for a major Russian-language newspaper called Vesti) and writing witty pieces on traveling, family, fashion, trends, etc. 

She has conducted interviews/written articles and/or acted as a "fixer" for members of the Johnny's Entertainment (a famous boy-band production company, known for their dislike to media outside their own cycle), GACKT (Japan's top rock singer), Saito Takumi (a known actor in Japan),  VITAS (a famous Russian singer), Backstreet Boys, Ne-Yo, Tom Cruise, etc. 

Erin works for printed media, online media and TV/films. She can take professional photographs and videos.
