Authorities Destroy Homes of anti-India militants Post Attack in Indian Kashmir

Respected Editors,
I hope this email finds you well.
I'm writing to express my interest in filing a story from the Indian side of Kashmir. The story focuses on how the Government of India is demolishing the homes of alleged anti-India militants in the disputed Himalayan region.
The Read moredemolitions decision came following a deadly attack in the Pahalgam area of Kashmir, which resulted in the deaths of more than two dozen people. The purpose of demolition is to send strong message to militants and their supporters. So far in three days at least a half a dozen houses have been dismantled.
Videos and images circulating online suggest that Indian forces are planting IEDs inside the homes of suspected militants before blowing them up, allegedly as a form of collective punishment against them and their families.
This move is being compared to actions taken by a Hindu monk Chief Minister in India, who ordered the demolition of dozens of Muslim-owned homes in response to protests against the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC).
Would you be interested in commissioning this story from Kashmir? I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time and consideration.
