My name is Hedayatullah Noori, a reporter, cameraman, video editor, and technician, cameraman and reporter for 13 years for Voice of America in Kabul. I have resettled in Silver Spring, Maryland.

I studied electrical engineering and computer science in Afghanistan, but due to my interest in the press, I started working in the media in 2003 for an Afghan newspaper, Hewad, and then for Afghan National Radio and Television as a reporter and cameraman.  In 2008, I began working for Voice of America  and did so in several capacities.
	In addition to working as a  reporter and camera operator, I also have experience in video editing.  You can see samples of my work at the links . For each of them, I prepared the script, shot the videos, and did post-production editing myself.  I am very flexible and eager to learn. I am a hard worker and I would very much appreciate an opportunity to speak with you about potential employment.

In addition, I have always tried to keep news and events from distracting me from human rights activities, but I have used this experience in line with human rights activities.
The human rights issues that I have focused on in Afghanistan have been the violation of women's rights, freedom of expression, and the development of religious radicalism given the traditional context of Afghanistan.
I also focused on the issue of human rights violations in Iran, the issue of executions and the violation of the rights of refugees by the Islamic Republic.
